Wow…that was embarrassing; thanks for bringing that rogue apostrophe to my attention. Also, my editor has been fired, dismembered and thrown in the dumpster.

No apostrophe in plumbers.

“Plumber’s Beware?” really? Last I checked, you couldn’t own “beware.”

I’m not usually a spelling or grammar Nazi, but come on, site mods, the plural of plumber is “plumbers”, not “plumber’s”…

“I stick him on his chest, not knowing that was hurting him.”

I kind of have to agree with the others that have commented here about the apostrophe. It really distracts from the headline itself… I mean come on, you guys even did a post making fun of this kind of thing… http://probablybadnews.com/2009/10/01/funny-news-headlines-except-grammar/

Paper Boy, thanks for the apology and redaction of the apostrophe. It’s good to know that people actually still care about rogue apostrophe’s.

Ah. A classic New York Post headline. Husband makes a crack about wife’s butt… “butt crack.” Most excellent.

A man lost his life and we’re kidding about it. Domestic violence is very serious and affects millions of men and women every year.

Did anyone notice that it says “He said she should be going to anger-management classes, like any MAN in her situation would have to do.”
